Facilities
At Midas Networks, we operate our own data center — we don't lease a rack in someone else's facility. This means we can offer secure data storage, reliable service, and flexible plans, all at competitive rates.
Flexibility
We have many options from open racks and cabinets, to closed cabinets and cages. We can offer space from a single rack unit, or U, to multiple cabinets and more. You don't have to lease a rack when you only need a single U.
Redundancy
Every system in our data center is protected from power outage with the use of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), diesel generator backup, and facility-wide surge protection. Data circuits are through separate entrance facilities and equipment.
Monitoring
Every computer in our facility is monitored 24 hours a day. Notifications can be sent to the owner or a designated representative for each system.
Parts Onsite
We carry a large supply of parts onsite to help lower downtime in case of hardware failure. While we don't carry a full line of motherboards and CPUs, we do carry items that are most likely to fail, such as power supplies, CPU fans, hard drives, and RAM. For the items that we don't have, we are conveniently located near local suppliers.
Hardware Security
Each system in our data center must have a representative assigned to access the data center and to add or remove any hardware from the site. Under no circumstances will an unauthorized person be allowed access to any system in our facility. This restricted access also prevents authorized users from accessing another customer's system. All access is monitored and no systems are left physically unguarded while individuals are present in the data center.
