Using ASMTP with Apple Mail

1. On the menu bar, click Mail:Preferences. When the pane pops up, click on "Accounts."
   
   
2. Edit the account that you want to use the Midas Networks mail server for.
   
   
3. Click on the "Outgoing Mail Server" and select "Add Server."
   
   
4. In the "SMTP Server Options" pane, set these options:
   • For "Outgoing Mail Server", enter mail.midasnetworks.com.
   • Select "Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)".
   • For " Authentication", select Password.
   • For " User Name", enter the name you use to log in to get your mail.
   • For "Password", enter your password.
     
     
5. Click "OK", then "OK" again, and close the Mail preferences.
6. Test your configuration by sending yourself a test email.
