Change the Default Browser to IE 5 or 6

1. Start Internet Explorer (Version 5 or later) and choose Tools > Internet Options.
   
   
2. Click the Programs tab.
3. Select the option "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser."
   
   
4. Close IE, and then restart it. You should see a dialog box like this:
   
   
5. Click Yes to make IE your default browser.
